This page last changed on Nov 09, 2010 by m3rabb.

Final Project

By now, you should have submitted your proposal to your TA/moderator and gotten approval to begin development. For each of the weeks, you will be graded on the usual style and participation components and if you accomplished the tasks that you said you would for that week in your proposal. For each week, please commit to subversion in a folder called FinalX where X is 0, 1, 2, or 3 depending on the week (CS majors always count from zero).

Due Dates:

  • Week 0 – 11 November 2010 @ 8:00 AM Central
  • Week 1 – 18 November 2010 @ 8:00 AM Central
  • Week 2 – 24 November 2010 @ 11:59 PM Central (note due date moved up due to Thanksgiving)
  • Week 3 – 2 December 2010 @ 8:00 AM Central
Even though we are on Thanksgiving vacation for week 2 of the final project, you are still expected to do a week’s worth of work according to your proposal and submit it to SVN. You will be graded for weeks 2 and 3 at once when you present both week’s work during your last section of the semester.

The will be no discussion section on December 9th and 10th due to reading day and the start of final exams, but we will have lecture on December 6th. This class period will be dedicated to showing off some of the best final projects, so please plan to attend and volunteer to share what you have done.

As stated on the Policies page, none of the final project weeks can be dropped.
