Final Project

By now, you should have read the Final Project Details page, submitted your proposal to your TA/moderator and gotten approval to begin development. For each of the weeks, you will be graded on the usual style and participation components and if you accomplished the tasks that you said you would for that week in your proposal. For each week, please commit to subversion in a folder called FinalX where X is 0, 1, 2, or 3 depending on the week (CS majors almost always count from zero).

Due Dates:

  • Week 0 – April 5th and 6th before the start of your section in a folder in SVN named Final0
  • Week 1 – April 12th and 13th before the start of your section in a folder in SVN named Final1
  • Week 2 – April 19th and 20th before the start of your section in a folder in SVN named Final2
  • Week 3 – April 26th and 27th before the start of your section in a folder in SVN named Final3

The will be no discussion section on May 3rd and 4th due to reading day and the start of final exams, but we will have lecture on April 30th. This class period will be dedicated to showing off some of the best final projects, so please plan to attend and volunteer to share what you have done. There may be a quiz or in class activity for credit on any of the lectures during the final project.

It is also part of the assignment to update your portfolio as you complete each week.
As stated on the Syllabus page, none of the final project weeks can be dropped.
There may still be weekly tutorials and readings assigned during the final project. Please check the course wiki homepage and piazza for announcements regarding them.
